Non-alcoholic champagne. A toast with children and pregnant women

The last moments of the year arrive, a time to reflect on what has been lived and consider New Year's resolutions. But first of all you have to think about New Year's Eve dinner and champagne to say goodbye to the year.

It is time to think about the chimes and the toast, a ritual in which children can also participate with this recipe for non-alcoholic champagne, the most typical New Year's Eve drink to help pass the grapes to the little ones.

  • 50 ml. apple juice
  • 50 ml. grape juice
  • 150 ml. soda
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar

Tips: You can buy some grapes to decorate by pouring them into the glass, or cut some lime or lemon slices and place them on the rim of the glass.

1. The juices can be prepared with natural fruit (crushing it and adding water to taste) or buy it, since at this time it will be easier. The first thing is to cool the juices in the fridge for an hour.

2. Mix both juices and stir. Add the soda and a few drops of lemon juice, mix without stirring too much so that the gas does not go away. If you want a sweeter drink, add a little sugar.

3. To decorate the glasses, dip a little water or lemon on the rim of the glasses and turn them upside down on a plate sprinkled with sugar, so that it sticks to the edge. Pour the drink and serve. Happy New Year!
